Iffley Festival of Miles is back and better than ever!
Join us on 4th June for a series of graded mile races held on the legendary track where Sir Roger Bannister set the first sub-4-minute mile, running 3:59.4 in 1954.
Open to runners of all abilities, the event will involve paced, seeded races, culminating in an elite invitational race for men and women. Iffley Festival of Miles is all about running fast and so will be a great place for many to set PBs in the rarely contested mile distance, under the control of experienced pacers. An official 1500m, within the mile races, will also be taken and published on Power of 10.
For those looking to be in the elite races please see entry details below. Only 5 athletes have ever run sub-4min on Roger Bannister Track, to add yourself to this illustrious list of athletes make sure you get yourself down to Iffley Festival of Miles.
Iffley Festival of Miles looks forward to welcoming you all back to the Roger Bannister Athletics Track and if you have any queries about the event, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us on Instagram.
